4th grade is FUN...

...who knew!?!?!

I'm loving it. Really. It's makes SUCH a difference when you actually KNOW what you are supposed to do and HOW to do it.

I'm so excited about this year. My kids are just precious and sweet. This year won't be without challenges, though. The group we have this year is all around academically low. They are hard workers, but somewhere on the way to 4th grade, something was missed and we have a lot to do!

I'm so ready for the challenge... I think.

I'm blessed to team with Nicole Cook again. She is just fantastic. God has blessed me with an uplifting and wonderful friend. She is teaching Math, Science, and Health while I am teaching Reading, Lanuage Arts, and Social Studies. We are both teaching our homeroom in Writing.

I hope I get better at remembering to blog. :)

Well... I went to Made in the Streets this summer. I could have an entire separate blog for that trip, but it will have to wait until I have more time to process. It was wonderful, terrible, amazing, and scary all at once.

I will do my best to try and explain at a later date.

In other news: My dad had his right hip resurfaced in North Carolina on Wednesday. He is already walking without as much pain. I am so excited for him!

I was really nervous before and during his surgery because my dad has a blood clotting condition that could have been bad news had it not been handled properly. The doctors were great, God is awesome, and my dad is happy, healthy, and without pain.

Yay!

My nephew, whom you have only heard about once, is turning ONE YEAR OLD on October 9th!! I can't flipping believe it!

He is just so big! What a cutie!!
That is all for now! More random thoughts, ramblings, and updates to come!!
